Aerial platforms with and without outriggers: what are the differences?
Why do some vehicle-mounted aerial work platforms have outriggers and others do not? Outriggers are mechanical devices that increase the stabilisation of the vehicle in order to improve the performance of a platform, such as the working outreach and/or the load carried in the basket. Here are some explanations that will help you understand the importance of equipping your vehicle with outriggers or not.
