An aerial work platform is defined as a device providing temporary access to inaccessible height areas. Aerial work platform or AWP is also known as MEWP - Mobile Elevated Work Platform - Cherry Picker, Boom Lift and EWP - Elevated Work Platform.
As a manufacturer, we design aerial lifts mounted on vehicles like vans, chassis trucks, heavy trucks and on 4×4 pick up which offer a solution to many applications like telecommunication networks maintenance and repair, safety inspections, window washing, tree care work. This vehicles provide mobility, and may also help stabilize the unit – through outrigger stabilizers are still typical, especially as vehicle mounted boom lifts are amongst the largest of their kind.
FAQ
Do you offer platforms that work without outriggers?
Yes, several of our van-mounted platforms are engineered to operate without outriggers. Models such as the KL32 and KL21B achieve stability through a weight distribution system that spreads the load across the vehicle chassis. If you work in urban environments where deploying outriggers would obstruct traffic or pavements, these models are the right choice for you. This configuration is currently limited to single-operator baskets (120 kg capacity) though. If you need a higher basket capacity, our K42P with two outriggers offers 200 kg in exchange for a slightly longer setup time.
Can your platforms be used on difficult or off-road terrain?
Our chassis-mounted range includes pick-up based models designed for off-road and difficult access conditions. Whether you operate in cities, deserts, or mountainous environments, our K26 on Toyota HiLux, K26 on Nissan Navara, and K20 on Isuzu D-Max fit your needs. We use aluminium booms on these models to provide corrosion resistance while keeping vehicle weight low enough to preserve your off-road payload capacity.
What is the difference between telescopic and articulated booms in your range?
We offer telescopic arms that extend in a straight line. The right choice if your tasks involve direct access such as CCTV maintenance or street lighting, as they deliver greater working heights. We also offer articulated arms with one or more knuckle joints, enabling you to navigate around obstacles. More suitable if you work on tree pruning, or indoor operations. All our van-mounted platforms use telescopic arms due to their urban profiles, while our truck and chassis models are available in both configurations, including combined articulated-telescopic designs for maximum versatility on your site.
